Shaq and Kobe

Poor Lisa Salters. She was unsuspecting and at the same time aggressive. She probably had hoped that Shaq would give a comment that was one for the memory books......Instead she just got stunned silence and a look to kill from the big guy. The media loves this Kobe/Shaq stuff. In fact, they live for it.

Some of us however, are tired of the soap opera. Both currently play for very average teams and neither has done much to distinguish themselves as team players since divorcing one another. The great teams in today's NBA, are team oriented and devoid of cocky superstars that serve as a distraction. Tim Duncan and his Spurs as well as the Detroit Pistons are both franchises that rely heavily on role players and team guys......lunch pail guys if you will.

It's time for the media and the respective teams to let the Kobe/Shaq fued die and get back to the basics of winning basketball.
