Tom DeLay indicted
After years of intimidating lobbyists and Washington trade associations (as chronicled in David Marinass and Michael Weiskopf's 1995 Washington Post series of articles about the GOP leadership) who didn't support his agenda 100%, and clawing his way to the top of the Republican House leadership through sheer determination and backroom maneuvering, the law has finally caught up with Tom DeLay.
