South Florida on edge for Game 7

Are the Heat just cursed or will this finally be the year? For the fifth time in nine seasons, the Heat enter a deciding game of a playoff series at home as the higher seed. The Heat is facing an elimination game with the entire starting lineup either banged up or flat out injured. Will this finally be the night this franchise which has been teetering on the brink of greatness for the last ten years breaks through, or will it be yet another Dolphinesque moment for South Florida's other long time pro sports fixture? Post your thoughts here.

Yes, we are all on edge. I was at the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale and I spoke to a number of people who were nervous about the game. Baseball really isn't very popular here, thus so many people are seeing this as the first opportunity to win a championship since the early 70s for a pro sports team. The good thing was the support- at the mall I'd guess almost 10% of all people were wearing Heat shirts. I watched the game at Dave and Busters in Dania Beach the other night and the place was overflowed with people ready to celebrate a Heat win. The town will go nuts if we win tonight.

You guys ought to be nervous. The Champs have finally come to play. I predict an easy Pistons win tonight. 91-77 Final.
