Heat win Game 3

Quite an excellent game for Dwayne Wade and company. Clutch shotmaking by Eddie Jones and Rashaul Butler. The officiating in the game was suspect, but the Heat were able to overcome some awful calls, and perservere to an important road win.

The Heat certainly haven't rolled over as predicted by some. Not beign able to watch the game, I did follow the 4th quarter on ESPN.com and I have to commend them for this service, for those of us unlucky folks not in the viewing range. Go Heat!

What a great 4th qtr performance by the Heat. When Wade went out with 5 fouls, Shaq struggling to make FG's in the 2nd half, down 86 to 81, the Heat showed true championship character. Eddie Jones hit a 3, then Butler hit a 3 and the Heat clamped down defensively all with Wade on the bench. Shaq made 6 FT's in a row an unprecedented accomplishment by the big fella!!

Detroit's going to come out with great intensity in game 4 but if the Heat can pull it out and that's a big IF, it'll be over in 5.

Damon Jones and Keyon Dooling are going to be the keys in Game 4, IMHO.
